BATTERY STORAGE

However during dark hours you'll still need to resort to purchsasing electricty from an energy provider to power your home.
By coupling your solar panels with battery storage you can become even more energy independent, as any unused energy from the sunlight will be convereted into AC power and stored for later usage.
This combination allows some homes to be fully self sufficient and not have to pay anything to the national grid.
